What is a Family Partnership Adovate (FPA)?
The Family Partnership Advocate (FPA) supports students, families, and staff by building strong connections between school and home.
An FPA helps families:
- Find and connect with school and community resources (like food, clothing, or health supports).
- Navigate challenges that may affect their child’s learning.
- Feel welcomed, informed, and empowered as partners in their child’s education.
An FPA works with staff to:
- Share the voices and needs of families.
- Strengthen culturally responsive family engagement.
- Support student success by addressing barriers to learning.
The goal of the FPA is simple: to make sure every family feels supported, connected, and confident in their child’s educational journey.
